Princess Kerri,

I hope my missive finds you well and in good health. Also, I hope the rest of your term goes well.

Family issues have driven me from England to Ireland to visit my niece, Bridget Hanley Tudor. It has been months since word has come, and the Family is becoming worried about her safety with stories of constant battles.

If you wish, I am willing to be a diplomatic ambassador between England and Ireland; my loyalty has and will always remain with England. I need to be leave as soon as possible to make sure she and her new son are in good health. I am leaving my nephew, Arthur_Loxley, as Head of The Tudor House (temporarily) until my return; he has the authority to take care of my lands keeping them properly maintained.

Please send word if you wish anything specifically for England while I am there. My mission will be to focus on peace between England and Ireland. We both know there are hostilities between the Irish and England stemming from former English residents, and it would be a disadvantage to both Countries if we cannot ensure peace. I shall return to England as soon as my family is safe and has a proper home to dwell in.

Princess Brianna Tudor
4th Regent of England
Grand Duchess of Cumberland and Umberland

I hope they will both come visit soon. I miss them greatly. He paused for a moment thinking of the long trip by boat to Ireland. He hoped everything had gone well and the weather was cooperating.

His train of thought was interrupted when he heard something in the distance. He wasn't sure what it was but it brought him to focus back on the Regent. Did you wish for me to forward a reply to my aunt regarding her missive?

She was so absorbed in them that it took a few minutes before she realized that people were talking outside her door. She hurried up and rushed out of her seat to open her door. She found Kerri and Arthur talking, so she smoothed out her dress as she waited to see if there was anything that she needed to do for one of the pair ...

Dun figured he'da been out days ago...ain't my fault somethin' held him up inside. We's still goin' in ta find him.

She had more than one guard following close on her and Donnor's heels, and one had already dare lay a hand on her, sorely tempting her to drop him where he stood. She had a feeling Donnor was fighting the same urge, though she wasn't going to pause to look. If she did, his longer stride would carry him out of sight, she kept her hand in his as she headed to the office of the royal secretary.

They could hear Arthur's voice before they turned the last corner, he was talking to a couple of people. As their steps carried them closer, she recognized Kerri, though the other was unknown to her. Smiling up at Donnor, she whispered; Tole ya he wasna in the dunge'n...they saves that area fer the likes of us. She had to raise her voice to be heard over the noise of the guard's boots, apparently walking silently had not been part of their training. Hey Arthur, you 'bout done? Yer bride's waitin' on ya, an' we hates to stay in place fer too long, even to be escortin' fam'ly about.

Donnor wrote:The last time he was on these grounds he had nearly been taken to the dungeons for attacking a soldier for stopping him from seeing Harlan and the Princess, it felt like such a long time ago. Things had changed between them and now he would rather spit upon the Princess instead of offering his congratulations. He was allowing himself to be pulled by Aasha as they searched for his brother.

One guard even placed his hand upon his companion, but before Donnor could knock him off his feet he was yanked away. Making sure to memorize the guards face, he knew one day he would return and fix the situation. She was moving so fast, he didn’t even have the time to make a rude comment, it was probably for the best anyhow.

Finally able to see Arthur, looked down at Aasha as she whispered.
”I am sure the Princess would love to lock us in the dungeon” He made no attempt to lower his voice. ”What is going on in here? Some of us actually have things to do, plans to follow. Was the letter from Aunt Brianna answered or not?” He stopped as Aasha tugged on his sleeve and began to speak. She caught him before his temper got the best of him and he said something to get them in trouble.

Arthur_loxley wrote:Arthur stepped between both Donnor, aasha, and the Princess. He knew there was tension between the three and wanted to minimize it as much as he could. The situation was delicate and he didn't want there to be any ill feelings.

Arthur lowered his voice so that Donnor and aasha could hear.
Please wait outside for me, I shall be done soon. Lynna should not be alone in the city. If anything happens to her.. He looked into Donnor's eyes and stopped speaking. He knew his brother would understand. And where Donnor went, Aasha was soon to follow. Those two could never be separated longer than a few hours. And keep your voices down, please. There are some folks trying to work around here, he gestured towards the Royal Secretary and Regent. They have their hands full as it is. And the Guards are already poised for action. Let's not make the situation worse. Violence will not resolve this issue. He was confident the two would understand. He ushered them towards the door, before turning back to the Regent.

I apologize on behalf of my brother and his fiancé. They aren't the patient type. I understand that you are a busy woman with all the issues before you, and appreciate the time you take to speak with me concerning my Aunt's missive.

Revandenizen wrote:She had nodded in response to Arthur and remained quiet, not wanting to interrupt the conversation, or perhaps the train of thought of one of the two. But then things started happening rather fast as a woman and a man, both not looking in the happiest of moods, and a handful of guards following them came forth.

Revan knew instantly that with that many people outside of her office, the simple matter of a letter had turned into a situation. However, she was glad that Arthur was one of the those there, trying to restore some of the order when tempers flared and she was ushered to the door.

Arthur_loxley wrote:I apologize on behalf of my brother and his fiancé. They aren't the patient type. I understand that you are a busy woman with all the issues before you, and appreciate the time you take to speak with me concerning my Aunt's missive.

Revan decided that she had been too quiet in all of this. Time to finally step up and speak her mind. She turned to the regent, finding her voice. "Your Highness, Arthur, if I may," she began, reaching a hand for the door to her office, "perhaps the use of a room, with no other ears inside but your own, would be of assistance. That way, any small details that you may need to be considered can be given the proper attention required." With the door opened, she stepped aside, indicating for them to retreat inside. She turned to Arthur, putting a small smile on her face. "Arthur, what would family be if they weren't passionate and ready to fight what they care about? I would expect the same from my own relatives."

She turned and looked at the guards and the couple they surrounded, a look on Revan's face as if she remembered them ... Of course, she thought, from the regent's wedding. She looked on to see if Arthur's words had had any affect on them, as a courier approached her. She exchanged gold coins for the letter, and held the letter firmly in her hand, intending to wait until the regent's business with Arthur was concluded before bringing another matter up on this busy day in the castle.

Mommikerri wrote:Keeping her facial expressions passive, she endured the mocking eyes of Aasha and Donnor before thankfully, Lord Arthur noticed her discomfort and asked them to leave. Smiling gratefully at Revan, she followed her to the inner chamber and turned to face Princess Brianna's nephew. "I"m sorry, Lord Arthur, I didn't think a reply was necessary. I am sorry to have made you come all this way especially since you are newly wedded. Please tell your aunt that she should just concentrate on family during her travels. Of course, if she hears of anything that would be beneficial to the security of England, have her pass it on to the next regent."

Smiling apologetically at the man, she murmured, "Once again, I"m sorry for keeping you waiting. Please give my regards to your wife." With a sweep of her arm, she invited him back to the main office. Her eyes swept the desk looking to make sure that nothing of value was taken. She knew of Aasha's penchant for having sticky fingers. "If there is nothing else, Lord Arthur?"

I will give your regards to my wife; give my regards to your husband, Harlan... I hope that after your term, you will have a chance to relax. Good day, Princess. he says before leaving.
