(RP) Calling out Kenrich

This was indeed an interesting show. Two men, seemingly opposites together trying to build a school. Though she would not admit that she was much amused by the loud ones desire to build a dungeon, trap doors and escape routes. She thought about the education that the new school could potentially provide; Interogation, Torture tactics, Awareness.

Bemused she slips a hand into her cloak and withdraws a flask, taking a long swig to warm her blood as she watched the events below.

She chuckled softly as the Scot finished speaking and shook her head lightly. This was no duel, it was a school raising. It seemed it would go up quick to, being a competition. One might hope that it would hold.

They're only a few months younger than him.

Liza's eyes once again are drawn to Launcelot as she considers Myxti's question. Taking the opportunity of the arrival of others to study the man, she gives a slight shake of her head. No, I don't think I do know him. At least I've never met him. But something about his mannerism is very familiar. Turning to Myxti, she asks, Who is he?

He looked over to the man giving him a nod as to say thank you for the kind words.

It still exists, but it needs to be rebuilt and more creative. I just need to examine the blue prints so I can call Ken the winner....I mean....determine the winner. While you are here, any ideas? I thought a torture chamber for the squirrels might be fun. Maybe a whiskey brewery."

She grinned, looked at Liza, and spoke softly.

"If I am correct, that is Launcelot. Notorious bad boy and killer charmer. I have met him in passing a couple times. Had I seen through his charm sooner, I might have been able to get the law on him. He is pretty stealthy too." She sighed sadly.

He heard all sorts of commotion from up above... so, caked in mortar, he climbed up from the depths to get a little peek.

In a moment of precognition the day before, Launcelot had taken a keg of beer and placed it in the flowing water of a cool stream not far from the school. He walked over to it and popped the keg. Two wooden mugs appeared almost from no where (in fact, the nerdy guy put them there right before the RP began). Taking them in hand, he poured two frothy beers....

As he walked back to continue his conversation with Liz, be stopped by where Ken was standing and dropped off the other beer.

Then.

"So... you gotta problem with us blue collar types?"

Feeling she needs to add something, after all Myxti was her cousin's wife, she draws herself up to her full height and attempts to look down her nose a bit at Launcelot, not a mean feat as the man towers over her. A lock of her hair falls across her eyes and she completely spoils her haughty pose by puffing it away. The lock falls back over her eyes and she determines to ignore it, attempting to glare at him from beneath it. What I do take issue with is gentlemen becoming overly-familiar with other men's wives, Sir! she finally manages to get out.

He gives her a cheeky grin.

"Myxti and I go waaaaaay back. Don't we Myxti?"

She went back to focus on Launce's building, but did not have the heart to tell him that all she really needed were the blueprints.

Wandering away a bit Liza admires the layout, especially of the underground rooms. What Wolf wouldn't do with those, she muses to herself with a chuckle. Finding her way to the keg she discovers another couple of mugs lying near, almost hidden behind the keg. She takes two and helps herself to the ale, bringing them back to hand one to Myxti. We might as well make ourselves comfortable, she says with a grin. It looks like the men will be busy for a time. She settles herself on a nearby rock, careful to tuck her skirts demurely around her legs, to watch the show.

Setting herself more comfortably, she nibbles and sips as they watch the men. Ken was busy pouring over plans, and she caught an occasional glimpse of Launcelot from down below. On one of those occasions, she glances at Myxti with a teasing look and leans over to whisper, You know, there is something to be said for the "bad boy" charm. She grins at Myxti, then it dawns on her why Launcelot had seemed so familiar. He had the same reckless air about him as her husband. She looks back at Launcelot with renewed interest. Yes, she could see him crashing an engagement to loudly declare his love for the bride, come what may. Her gaze narrows a bit as she glances between him and Ken. Perhaps Myxti was in deeper than she had thought. Launcelot might not be the type to take rejection gracefully. Licking the crumbs from her fingers, Liza decides to stick around a bit longer to be on hand if needed.

She hugged her husband.

"Thank you, Love. Are you going to stay or escort me home?"
