With the bulk of the monies out on trade I hadn't thought to go into the red for extra milita as it had been peaceful in these parts untill I coiuldnt get up to check the AAP that is delievered to my office.I had sent out two towns people with grants and didn't think to lock the coffers as the door was locked every night. I asked Annalisse if milita was hired, I didn't bother to ask how many as I was to tired to even lift my head.

In the middle of the night as the fever sweats were coming on and the delirum was setting in Annalisse was shaking me awake..batting her off in a fit of rage it wasnt untill her body hit the wall that I realized what was going on.

I ask Annalisse if she was alright and then asked her what was so urgent...

The Town Hall has been turned over my lady..a man named Hawkeye has taken control..I have pulled his stats for you my lady

Grabbing my head as I sat up in my sweat soaked bed I look at Annalisse

We must inform the Duke and the Stafford Guard, they will chid me as will the rest of Stafford but that is not something I can think about at this time

Cursing myself as I knew revolt had happened in Birimgham..I should have been more prepared..I snatch the AAP paper that Annalisse brought to my home and curse myself when I see revolts were happening in Warwick. I should have been more prepared..what did Arthur tell me once..think Lily think...I sit down with my wrap tightly around me realizing he once told me many moons ago that we needed 3 milita as we are a border Town. That mistake will never happen again. As tears fall down my face as I realize what this means..in 7 days when the elections the towns people, my people will lose faith in me. I do not deserve to be elected again..I grab a pen and some parchment paper and pen a letter to my older brother kendor..

Something needs to change. He muttered. He turned back to Lynna. A town has been taken. Arthur held the door forward, as he saw Lynna get out of bed. Which town, my Love? He didn't want Oswald seeing Lynna in her nightgown. It was meant for his eyes only. Oswald stepped back into the hallway, his eyes cast down. What shall I do?

Lynna finished getting dressed and made her way to his side. She peered over his shoulder as he read the letter in his hands. Oh my. We need to convene Council to sanction a counter-revolt.

He needed to help the town, and at the same time, needed to convene council. He was split. He needed to retake the town and ensure its safety. But he was needed by Council to start the poll for the counter-revolt. The pace picked up quickly, and he instructed Oswald to send a note to the Baroness of Codsall about his plans. He nodded in acknowledgement and left the couple in their bedchamber.

My Love.. I need to go to the town hall. We must secure it from this.. Hawkeye. Feelings of anger and annoyance filled him. Will you convene the council and discuss a sanction-revolt? Let them know that I am aware of the situation, but my presence is needed in the town.

My Lady Sutton, Baroness of Codsall:

My Lord has tasked me with informing you that he is aware of the situation and will lend his sword to retake the town. He has also sent Lady Lynna to convene the Council to sanction a counter-revolt.

My Lord has expressed feelings of disappointment; however, he does not wish you to blame yourself. These events happen, and with the witchery speculation across England, it is to be expected. He also wishes to inform you that his confidence in your abilities as mayor have not wavered and that he believes you will learn from these mistakes. It wasn't too long ago that Coventry fell under his watch as Captain when he too was sick. As always, he and Lady Lynna will help organize a donation collection from the active townsfolk to ensure that Coventry does not find itself in need or lacking as a result of the insurrection.

My Lord recognizes that elections are nearing, and he has already cast his vote for you. He refuses to change it and hopes that you will continue to service the town as mayor.

Oswald sealed it with the Tudor seal, then called a page to deliver it to the Lady. Quickly, boy! No milling about. The letter is of grave importance. The boy shivered hearing the tone of his voice and ran towards the intended house.

He thanked Jah that Bunny had been away, when this Hawkeye person had broke into the office and taken over and for causing Bunny so much pain, he swore revenge on this person.
Seeing your wife in tears is the worst torture a husband can ever experience.
He stayed in bed with her untill morning, making sure she was safe and taken care of.

As he heard that Annalisse had started working in the kitchen, he kissed his wife's forehead carefully, snuck downstairs carefull not to wake her and instructed Annalisse to take care and watch over Bunny while he was away.
Then he walked over to his mill and started sharpening his sword to prepare to take the town hall back.
All he had to do now was to wait for news from the council.

The smile he usually had, was gone and he continued to have images of his wife in tears...

We are coordinating people to penetrate the TH. We shall be successful tonight! He gathered with the others asking them to revolt and even visited his tavern to initiate a revolt party to take back the TH.

Next, he wrote out a bulletin for the town hall:

Good Morning People of Coventry!

Donations to help the town rebuild are now being accepted. There are 10 wood bushels on the market for 13.70. By buying one, you will donate 10 pounds to the Town Hall.

What do you need to know?
1. Military Life - Stafford Guard is recruiting. If you are interested in honor, chivalry, and defending your town, county and country, sign up now! Contact Teh_Uberness through IG mail to join.
2. Mining - You should know by now that the mines are an opportunity to make even more money. How? The county is currently sponsoring a profit sharing scheme! Work in the mines, get your pay, and perhaps even earn up to 100 more a week! Not a lot of effort, for a lot of bang.
3. Derby Harbor - The county is in the process of constructing a harbor in the town of Derby. If you are willing to travel there and help in the construction (18 pound wage daily!), please let me know. I am seeking 7 individuals to help in the construction.
4. Bakers & Millers - Where is our bread? Where is our flour? Why are you not working? Get in contact with me! We need food for our citizens.
5. Taverns - The Ox and Wagon offer cheap meat and bread for all. Our other local taverns offer veggie, corn, and fish dishes. All of your needs can be met through these places. If you haven't introduced yourself to me, come see me in the Ox or Wooly's. I'll be waiting for you!

He was about to hand the papers to the secretary when he remembered to place a table of goods that the town hall was interested in buying. There seemed to be an overproduction of goods on the market regarding corn and wheat, but he didn't have any secure trade leads for them. He wanted to work with the town council to inform some corn farmers to change to sheep ranches. The wool was necessary for the new prospects of making sails and demand would increase dramatically over the next month. The county also had a trade deal with Lancaster to secure tapestries for our most esteemed members of Stafford. (OOC: what do we call lvl 4? ) He wanted to speak to Lynna about possibly commissioning the building of a boat for the Tudor family. He had wanted to visit his Aunt and cousins in Ireland as well as Donnor and his bride, Aasha. He had many friends who had left for the land of Eire when it first opened, and he would be happy to spend some time with them. Perhaps when the port of Derby was completed, he would travel with his family oversees. A new adventure for them all.
