And of course, if the heir moves to Navarre, the land is their's, no negotiation needed. Lastly, I need the promise that this contract only applied to children produced from this union. I would hope Sir Kenrich would not go outside of the marriage....but you know young lads today. If no children are produced, at Sir Kenrich's death, the land returns to the Balboa Estate. Juana can choose whether to stay or go back to Navarra and control the land in her own right. Otherwise, it goes to my heir. Should Juana die childess before Sir Kenrich and it has been after a year, he may do whatever with the land that he sees fit. Should she die prior to a year childless, it reverts back to my heir."

He sips from his glass.

"Lady Liza if this is acceptable we can shake on it now. I will have my financial advisor draw up the contract that will be sent to you for a final look through and to be signed. You should expect that within a month's time. The deed to the property will be sent after consumation. If we have an agreement a handshake will do."

He puts out his hand toward Liza.

She came back to reality and suddenly wanted these negotiations to just end. She knew it was for her best interest, but she didn't care....she wanted her love.

He bowed to Liza and then looked to Myxti and Kenrich.

"My daughter, my only daughter. Remember you are a Balboa. No matter else you hear or may know, you are my daughter and I love you. Sir Kenrich, treat her right or I will be back in a not so good mood."

He then approached his daughter, whispered a few things in her ear, bowed to the group, and walked out the door. A servant came by and carried the gift away.

What a terrible flood there was in Ludlow. She had no idea how she survived, but when she opened her eyes, Kenrich was there. And now, he was there as well. Liza was also here and negotiated on their behalf. She didn't ask for anything for herself. She really did care about her. The emotion was just so overwhelming...to be truly loved unconditionally and without the thought of ulterior motives.....the tears came faster and faster. Finally she spoke in the smallest whisper.

"Thank you."

Kenrich wrote:Kenrich had been sitting there while things had wrapped up seeing everyone was satisfied with the terms, Myxti's father had gotten up. Kenrich gave a small bow.

"Do not worry sir you have my word that she will be treated like a princess and be well taken care of" he said before returning to his seat, looking over he saw Myxti very upset and crying he placed his hand on hers to let her know he was here. Looking over at his cousin, he was so greatful that she came, she made it possible for Myxti and him to stay together.

She wiped away her tears and calmed down as much as she could.

"Looks like we got a wedding to plan, m'love. But not tonight. I am quite tired. I think that I should be headed back home." She sighs. "I don't think Sophia will be staying here much longer. I need to be with her. Will you take me home Kenrich?"

Liza straightens up and puts her hand on Ken's shoulder as she passes him. I know you two have a lot to discuss, you have a wedding to plan, she says smiling. I'll leave you alone now. Let me know if there's anything I can help with. She chuckles. There's nothing I love more than a wedding. Any chance to dance.

With a smile, Liza leaves them and calls her driver to help her into the carriage.

"Yes my love that we do, lets get you home" he said with a smile. With that they headed to the door and out. He escorted her home, a very happy man in love.
